City Breaks for me, are the best kind of trip you can have. I absolutely adore them. When organised properly - they are cheap, cheerful and charming. I think having a 3 - 4 day stay in a city allows you to explore, learn and see some incredible things. For me, the most important thing to do before going, is planning what you are going to do and see while you're there. Three days isn't a long time and if you want to fit everything in - you have to be organised and efficient.

My favourite way of doing city breaks (as cringey and touristy as it may be) is by doing a sight seeing bus. Not only is a quick and easy way for you to see everything - but it is also a fab way to travel around the city. Every single city I have visited - we have always done this. It can sometimes be pricey - the boat in Venice was just short of £60 each, but I still think it's money well spent.

When booking a hotel or hostel - I tend to always go for a good location. I'm not that fussed about it being beautiful and luxurious, but a good and central location is vital. My main tips for doing any city break are:

 - Wear comfortable shoes

 - Make sure you're camera is fully charged

 - Buy a tour bus ticket!
