I have ALWAYS wanted to travel round Europe. I want to go to all 50 countries at some point in my life. The main issure with travelling Europe is the expense. In Asia, Hostels are £3 - 5, in Europe you're looking at around £10-15. I think Interrailing is a great invention! For this particular trip - I'm only going for two weeks - which is £269. 

 

Any sort of travelling that isn't done solo, needs careful consideration. Being with someone/ people non-stop for days/weeks is difficult and you need to make sure that you choose someone that you wont rub up against. Even though I have lot's of close friends - there are only a couple who I could go travelling with. For this particualr trip - I have asked one of my best friends Matt to join me. Matt and I work together and have known eachother for around three years. 

 

I would love to have gone interrailing for a month and gone to more than six countries. However, with Matt's job and my money situation (saving up for South America) two weeks, suits us both best. We agreed six cities in six countries was a squeeze but if planned properly it could be done. So we' ve chosen Istanbul, Belgrade, Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Warsaw.
