Woke up today feeling horrible - I had really swollen eyes from crying so much - I was hungover, so dehydrated and absolutely exhausted. We wanted to leave Koh Tao asap, understandably. So we packed up everything, and went to the nearest tourist office to book a boat to Koh Samui. We hadn't planned of going there, as it is pretty pricey, and not really a place that travelling teenagers on a budget go, but after last night, we want a bit of luxury. On the way to the port, we bumped into the girlfriend of the Irish man from the previous evening. She said he was in hospital, but alright. We waited in a local cafe for about two hours before the boat came. The boat was nice! Very airconned, and not too busy either, so was very calm on board. Really nice to relax - read, chilled and updated my diary. When we arrived in Koh Samui, we got our bags relatively quickly. We got a taxi to our resort, but our taxi driver was a very, very strange man. Firstly he squeezed all 5 of us in the back of his car because he needed to keep the front seat empty for his bag. Secondly, he had appalling English! We gave him the name of our hotel and asked if he understood but he just kept laughing and shaking his head. Lastly, in Thailand, hanging from the rearview mirror in any taxi, is a huge ID card with the photo of the taxi driver. Our driver was DEFINITELY not the man in the photo! Regardless of all this, we got to our hotel safe and sound and were SO happy with it. It's called Hi Coral Cove Bungalows, and was exactly what we were hoping for. Similar to Phi Phi, in the sense that the rooms are little private huts, but this time were looking over the ocean. So perfect! After we checked in, we dumped our bags and went for a swim in the pool. We met a big group of Irish lads, who I thought were seriously loud and annoying. The rest of the girls seemed to love them... Got a take away pizza delivered which was lovely. We went out into town, but when we got to the first bar, my exhaustion hit me, and I hit a wall. Luckily, Suzy was on the same page - so we went to a spa and had an oil massage, which was INCREDIBLE. One of the best massages I've ever had. The spa was called Iyara Bodyworks & Spa and I would seriously recommend it. After, we got a tuk tuk home and passed out into a VERY deep sleep!

Day 19

Woke up at 1 today, which was so nice - just  showed how exhausted I was! Lounged around the pool for most of the day and had a cheese and ham toastie for lunch. Skyped Jon for a bit which was nice and Mum and Charlie which was amazing! Miss them all so much! Went into town at about four, to book the travel and accommodation for the rest of the trip. Can't believe we only have nine days left, it's gone so quickly! Had a little look around town, bought some fake raybans for 95p! After, we went to the first restaurant we came across which was alright - nothing special. Got prawn cakes to start, the me and Flossy shared a carbonara and a Lasagne. Got a taxi home, via 7/11 to get some alcohol for this evening. English alcohol is absolutely extortionate in Thailand! £28 for a bottle of Malibu! Got home and got ready for the night ahead.

Went up to the girls room to start drinking. Got drunk quite quickly - probably because I couldn't be bothered to listen to the Irish boys rubbish banter! Went to a bar in town for one drink and then moved onto Green Mango Club which was great! One of the best clubs in Thailand. Absolutely massive, cheap drinks and really good music. Really high ceilings, completely full of people with great lights. Flossy and Kirsty were so drunk - both throwing up on separate occasions. Afterwards, we went back to the hotel and got in the pool for a bit. I didn't feel drunk at all by this point - just so tired! Got into bed and actually crashed out.

Day 19

AHHH. Today has literally been the worst day of my life! Just so horrendous. I don't know if it's a hangover or and illness, but something is not right with my body. I woke up at around six, having to run to the toilet to be sick... and it all went down hill from there. The only way I was remotely comfortable was by lying on the bathroom floor with the cold shower running over me. I was violently being sick every 10 minutes - so horrible! At about 9am I heard the girls at the pool - god knows how they got up so eary hungover! I went up to their room as the air con was amazing and managed to get a bit of sleep, but was still puking every 10 minutes or so. After about seven hours of this, I finally felt a bit better so I went into the pool to see if that helped. After this god awful day - I just wanted to go to sleep, but I knew if I did, I would wake up at a crazy time in the morning. Borrowed Jodie's Ipad so Suzy and I just lay in bed and watched a film. The girls went out - I don't know how, but Suze and I just chilled. I don't know if it was thie illness or the fact that I only have about a week left, but feeling really homesick today. I don't want to wish Thailand away, but I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again!

Woke up today at about ten, but seeing as I went to sleep at about nine last night - I was very well rested. Feeling a lot better, still not 100%. Woke the girls up who were all extremely hungover! Tried eating a ham and cheese toastie for lunch - but apparently my stomach wasn't ready for any sort of food yet, so that came straight back up again. Suzy and I wanted to be productive today, so we went and did all our washing - so nice to have clean clothes again! Got everything sorted and after alot of deliberation we all went our separate ways. Kirsty and Flossy went to a private beach just by the hotel, but Jodie, Suzy and I went to a more commercial one, called Lamai Beach - which was amazing, such clean sea water. Got a bir bored of sunbathing, but I hacked it anyway. Got a henna tattoo of Jon's name in Thai! I might pretend to him that it's real - I don't think he'd be impressed! Got a taxi home, only to find out I'm quite burnt! Nice to finally have a bit of colour - even if it is red! Came back and chilled in the room for a bit. We got ready and headed into town for some dinner. We went to Sydney Steakhouse. I wish my stomach was back to normal, because the steaks looked incredible! I stuck to carbonara as it was so cheap that I didn't mind that I could only manage a few mouthfuls. Suzy and I wanted to go back to Iyara for another oil massage. Tried to persuade the girls but after the massage in Bangkok - they were all reluctant. This time we both pushed the boat out and got a 2 hour full body oil massage for £10. There were some very sexual noises coming from the other beds which where sectioned off... very odd! Like last time, I was left feeling completely relaxed and sleepy, so went to bed for a nice long sleep. Seriously hoping that my stomach is sorted out before travelling to Phangan tomorrow!

Day 19

Day 19

Woke up today at 8:30 for some reason and couldn't get back to sleep. Being in Koh Samui has done exactly what I wanted it to. I feel completely relaxed and rejuvinated after a pretty non-stop couple of weeks. I feel a lot more pampered, clean and organised! Stomach seems to have sorted itself out. I got all my stuff packed up and went and lay by the pool with my book for a bit. So nice and peaceful at this time - no drunk, loud Irish boys! Had some breakfast before we set off - Standard breakfast in Thailand had become Eggs on toast! Waiting around at the hotel reception for about an hour for the bus to come and pick us up and take us to the port. After a forty minute journey, we got dropped off and got on to the boat. The journey was okay - Very rocky... I was scared it was going to set off my stomach again, but I was okay. Met some nice girls on the journey and this was their first day! They looked so clean and unbitten. We strongly recommended that they went to Pai! The boat lasted about two hours until we arrived in Koh Phangan.
